What's new in the Bertschi Group?

The Bertschi Tank Container Technical Training in Busto Arsizio, Italy, spanned two full Saturdays this September 2022. These two technical courses were specially tailored to the needs of the employees of Bertschi Italy.

The link between the Constantí and Morrot terminals of Bertschi will reduce the flow of 150 trucks between Tarragona and Barcelona.

Trial Operations are moving along great at the Bertschi Zhangjiagang Chemical hub. At the end of August 2022, the very first trucks arrived on site, and our eager Bertschi employees welcomed them.

The Bertschi Zhangjiagang Liquids Hub (BZJG) has big news: Trial Operations have officially started.

As part of our growth strategy, Bertschi continuously focuses on innovations and practices towards sustainable logistics. Through workshops, meetings, and conference participation on the topic, we are able to lead the way towards sustainable supply chain discussions and action plans.

The past 10 years have been an exciting period. Starting with a small global team spread across the globe, to today’s global setup with 200 people and a global fleet exceeding the 20,000 ISOtank mark.

The Joint Venture Aldrees-Bertschi container terminal in Saudi Arabia handles the logistics processes of our global and Middle Eastern clients. Our staff on-site operate as expert logistics professionals, handling the challenging requirements of our customers, through efficient implementation, trainings, and a special ability to withstand the harsh conditions of a terminal located in the middle of a desert.

Our newest and biggest investment, Bertschi Zhangjiagang Liquids Hub, was built on the highest international standards and the best available technology in the field. It was also built right by the Yangtze River Delta, accessing one of the fastest growing and richest regions of East Asia.

Recent months and indeed years have been very challenging for all of us. First the Covid crisis pushed us all to our limits, and now an unnecessary war is filling us with concern and sadness. Particularly in difficult trying times, it’s so wonderful to see Bertschi employees getting involved to make a difference.
