Alain Remund appointed Chief Information Officer of Bertschi Group

As of 1 August 2026, Alain Remund has assumed the role of Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Bertschi Group. In this function, he also joins the Group Management Board and represents the Group’s IT organization. 

Alain joined Bertschi in 2018 and has since held several leadership positions within IT and software development. Most recently, as Head of Development Europe, he played a key role in advancing the digitalization of Bertschi’s European operations. 

He succeeds Markus Berner, who will focus on his responsibilities as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and the planned transition to succeed Hans-Jörg Bertschi as Chairman. 

We congratulate Alain on his new role and wish him and the entire IT team continued success.
