Bertschi UK provides logistics solutions to the chemical supply chain for both bulk liquids and bulk/packed plastics and powders on a UK, European, and global scale.

Our Middlesbrough site is a customs-bonded facility covering an area of 14 hectares. It is connected to the UK’s strategic road and rail networks and is located only 4 km from Teesport, the UK’s third-largest port, offering both short-sea and deep-sea routings.

Main Services

• Bulk Liquid Handling: Storage for 220 tank containers including ADR classes, with modern heating stations (steam, warm water, electric) and state-of-the-art inspection gantries
• Warehousing: 18,000 m² bonded warehouse with 11,000 pallet spaces, PVC big bag gantry, debagging (manual & automatic), and advanced material handling equipment
• Hub Services: Tilting platforms for plastic products, outside storage for 10,000 pallets, plus light and heavy lifting solutions
• Container Park: Capacity for 2,600 TEU, operated with three reach stackers and two empty handlers
• Workshops & Certifications: Vehicle maintenance, container repair and fabrication, certified by SQAS, ISO 9001/14001/22000, AEO, GMP+B4, Responsible Care, Kosher, OCS and CDI
