Bertschi Schwarzheide – STR Terminal

Since 1994, we have been creating added value for our customers at the Schwarzheide site, supporting the entire supply chain. Together with our partners, we continuously develop tailor-made logistics concepts and implement them with precision.

In 2010, we expanded our services with a container repair and manufacturing hall, complementing our tank and container cleaning activities. The third expansion stage of our terminal in 2015 (following 2003 and 2007) added new capabilities: hazardous materials storage, a steam heating station with 16 CT positions, bonded storage under customs procedures, and direct rail connections to the deep-sea ports of Hamburg and Bremerhaven. Our ISO 9001 certification highlights our professionalism and reliability.

In 2017, STR GmbH opened three new warehouses for packaged goods, creating capacity for 15,000 pallet spaces. This was further expanded in 2024 by an additional 5,600 pallet spaces.

The site is part of the Bertschi Group, a global logistics provider specializing in intermodal transport and logistics solutions for the chemical industry, operating a global network of terminals, subsidiaries, and service hubs.
