Intermodal Services and Bertschi Logistics are both located in Prahova County, one of Romania’s most important industrial areas.

Bertschi Logistics has been operating since 2012, providing last-mile services for Bertschi tank containers arriving by rail from Western Europe to the intermodal terminal in Ploiești. The terminal itself has been in operation since 2011 with another stakeholder and became part of the Bertschi Group at the end of 2018 under the name Intermodal Services. Together, the two companies strengthen Bertschi Group’s presence in Romania, connecting Western Europe with South-Eastern Europe. The terminal is neutral and offers handling, temporary storage, and heating services to a wide range of customers.

The site is part of the Bertschi Group, a global logistics provider specializing in intermodal transport and logistics solutions for the chemical industry, operating a global network of terminals, subsidiaries, and service hubs.

• Three reach stackers with piggyback capability and one forklift
