Trial Operations have Started in Zhangjiagang

The Bertschi Zhangjiagang Liquids Hub (BZJG) has big news: Trial Operations have officially started.

The new Bertschi logistics center for dangerous liquid chemicals is located in Zhangjiagang at the heart of the Yangtze Delta area, not far from Shanghai. It consists of a dangerous goods storage facility for up to 1,000 tank containers, as well as automatic filling systems and three warehouses for different classes of dangerous goods, with space for 25,000 pallets. The plant has an annual capacity of 300,000–400,000 tons of chemical products.

This hub was built based on the highest international standards and the best available technology in the field. It is the largest investment of the Bertschi group thus far.

The BZJG Chemical Hub is built fully compliant to latest legislations and safety standards. The Hub offers the full Added Value Services portfolio for dangerous and non-dangerous chemical products:

  • Container yard storage
  • Isotank Heating
  • Transport
  • Valude added services

 

The Bertschi team will now focus on a gradual ramp-up of Operations. We target a controlled acceptance of customers allowing us to prepare the onboarding for each customer well.
